FLANAGAN CAMPAIGN ASKS ALL CAMPAIGNS AND SUPPORTERS TO RESPECT PERSONAL PROPERTY
Fall River, MA – In response to the recent theft of Mayor Flanagan’s campaign signs in Fall River, Mayor William Flanagan reminds all of the city’s campaign staff and supporters to respect one another’s personal property.
“Campaign signs are individuals’ personal property used to voice their support of a candidate,” Flanagan said. “The fact that someone’s property would be stolen or vandalized is a serious issue.”
“Signs and other forms of support should be respected,” Flanagan said. “The bottom line is, theft and vandalism are illegal and violators should face criminal penalties.”
As Mayor Flanagan prepares for his re-election campaign, he is focused on jobs, education, and quality of life issues, including crime.
“I will not tolerate my supporters stealing signs. I take great pride in not building myself up by tearing others down,” Flanagan said. “I hope others will follow that example.”
